Hince, Hurley & Big Team Ball interfere in proposals for Judge led Oldham CSE Investigation

Unable to submit their own motion for the second Council meeting in a row, the Independent Group of councillors (described as a Secret Squirrel Society by the Lib Dem opposition) are the ONLY party that have attempted to amend the CSE motion at tomorrow's Oldham Council meeting. The motion, submitted by the Failsworth Independent Party, calls for a Telford style Judge led investigation into the cover up of CSE in Oldham.

A key feature of the Telford inquiry was the independence of the Judge. Cllrs HINCE, HURLEY & BALL want to remove this and ensure the terms of reference are set by the Council. As Abraham Lincoln once said, better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
