In a town crying out for political change, Reform UK has delivered more of the same old smoke and mirrors. Here, I expose how their new chairman's secret dealings mock the very reform they promise.

Let's pull back the curtain on this farce:

• The Failed Leader Returns: Paul Errock - the man who couldn't win a single seat with his Proud of Oldham & Saddleworth Party and lost his own deposit - now crowns himself Reform's chairman without a single vote

• Secret Sectarian Dealings: Covert meetings with Pakistani 'Oldham Group' leaders who have direct links to drug dealing gangsters the same as Shah's Labour Party

• Power Play: Planning to remove already elected councillors who dare to fight Shah's Labour regime

• Saddleworth Superiority: Branch named to include Saddleworth while ignoring Chadderton, Royton, and Shaw. Do these towns not matter to Reform?

The Sheriff of Saddleworth's New Empire:

While Reform UK preaches democracy nationally, their Oldham operation is a sad puppet show. No member meetings. No votes. No transparency. Just Errock, orchestrating his plans from his millionaire Saddleworth mansion, moving his toy soldiers across Oldham's political battlefield. By the way, someone should tell him that the constituency of Oldham & Saddleworth does not exist.

What Real Reform Looks Like:

• Open member meetings

• Democratic chairman election

• Transparent candidate selection

• Member consultation on branch decisions

• Clear election strategy discussions

What Errock Delivered:

Backroom deals and autocratic decisions that would even make the Labour Party blush. In his latest power grab, Errock hijacked an existing Facebook group - originally fighting for councillors free from party control where they are answerable to NO WHIP - and simply rebranded it "Reform Oldham & Saddleworth" where they do answer to a party whip. His response to complaints? Members can leave if they don't like it.

Imagine turning up at Boundary Park with your season ticket, only to find Errock's renamed the Latics to Errock's Flat Caps, painted everything Reform purple, and replaced the team's blue with his own colours. Don't like it? He says you can always ask for a refund. That's Errock's version of democracy - your choice comes after he's already made his decision.
