Sausage Rolls Off The Menu As Chadderton Town Hall Is The New Venue

News is emerging that Jim McMahon is in retreat and has been forced into consolidating his Chadderton power base. With Labour losing power in wards across the Borough, and keen to not allow the situation from deteriorating any further, Oldham Council's new Cabinet has on it an unprecedented 4 councillors of its 9 from Chadderton North and Chadderton Central wards.

As AMANDA CHADDERTON now also lives in Chadderton North, rather than the Royton address she had been using in her declarations, and SHAID MUSHTAQ also a Chadderton resident, this is the most narrowly concentrated Cabinet in the history of Oldham Council. 6 of the 9 councillors either live in or represent Chadderton.

With Cabinet seats also awarded to the McMAHON loyalist Muslim block vote Asian Cartel wards of Alexandra, Coldhurst and Werneth, and one from Hollinwood, where he also has a member of his parliamentary team strategically placed as a councillor, there is once again no doubt as to who is really in control of Oldham Council.
