Statement from Raja Miah on Joining the Rape Gang Inquiry Team

I am honoured to have been announced as a member of Rupert Lowe’s independent inquiry team into the rape gang scandals that have devastated so many lives and communities across the country.

For years, I have worked to expose institutional failings, political cowardice, and the systemic abandonment of vulnerable children. This inquiry
represents a vital opportunity to bring truth to light - unfiltered, unbought, and unafraid.

Let me be unequivocal: I am participating in this inquiry on a pro bono basis. I will not receive any payment or financial benefit for my involvement.

I’m fortunate that my work is already supported by members of the public - people who subscribe to my website or buy me the occasional coffee. It is their belief in this mission that has helped me survive this journey so far, and it’s their ongoing support that enables me to take on this responsibility without personal gain.

All of my content is shared freely. Everything I produce is published on my website, Red Wall and the Rabble. If you haven’t already, please subscribe - we urgently need to grow our numbers as we move to this new phase of our journey:

My commitment remains firm: to the victims, the survivors, and the communities that have been ignored for far too long. I will approach this inquiry with the same determination and integrity that has guided me throughout my public life.

The time for truth and accountability is long overdue.
