The People's Reckoning: An Inquiry Without Permission

The People's Reckoning: An Inquiry Without Permission

As can be seen in my Spectator interview back in January, I was supportive but skeptical of Reform's announcement to launch their own public inquiry after the government blocked a vote in parliament for one.

I needed to make clear that only a government can commission an inquiry with statutory powers to secure evidence and call witnesses. The harsh reality is that without these statutory powers, most inquiries become performative exercises that generate headlines but little justice. I reached out to both Rupert Lowe and Richard Tice directly: how would they cut through the bureaucratic barriers that have sheltered perpetrators for decades?

Lowe's response wasn't just bold - it was revolutionary.

His announcement of a crowdfunded national inquiry demonstrates a commitment not just to action, but to systemic disruption. His proposal, delivered with precision and courage, is actually far more dangerous to the establishment than any public inquiry could ever be. It bypasses the gatekeepers entirely.

The timing is devastatingly perfect. In January 2025, after the Labour government actively voted against establishing a new national inquiry into grooming gangs, the issue had begun to fade from public consciousness—exactly as planned. The government was returning to business as usual: facilitating the cover-up through silence and obstruction. What Rupert Lowe has just done has completely blown the lid off this scandal yet again.

The public response speaks volumes. As I write this, his crowdfund has generated nearly £250,000 in less than 24 hours since his announcement. What clearer evidence could there be of the public's hunger for accountability when official channels have failed them?

Hearing news of Lowe's intentions, I immediately committed my full support. For me, this has never been about ego or ownership - it is about justice." To his credit, Rupert Lowe immediately responded to me. Likewise, his former ally Richard Tice has also encouraged my involvement. When victims have been failed by those sworn to protect them, tribalism becomes an unaffordable luxury.

What we're witnessing now is the raw power of relentless advocacy finally bearing fruit. After years of closed doors, dismissed evidence, and officials who prioritised political comfort over children's safety, we've forced a national reckoning that cannot be ignored.

The partnership between dedicated campaigners and courageous political figures demonstrates what's possible when the pursuit of truth transcends partisan politics and institutional loyalty.

The road ahead remains challenging, but for the first time in years, we have a path forward that doesn't rely on the very institutions that failed these victims in the first place - and that makes all the difference.

The Truth Cannot Be Silenced

I'm Raja Miah MBE. You won't find me in the mainstream media. I spent six years leading a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. Now millions know the truth of the industrial scale gang rape of children by organised networks of politically protected Pakistani men.

My work remains, despite powerful forces including the media, politicians, police and public officials all conspiring, to desperately stop me and bury the truth.
