When Truth Isn’t Enough: The Government’s Refusal to Act on Oldham
The evidence is there. The victims have spoken and campaigners have exposed the truth. Yet, the government refuses to act. Oldham’s CSE scandal represents a failure not only of local leadership but of national accountability. When will those in power recognise that truth without action is just another form of betrayal?
As part of her new role as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Home Office, JESS PHILLIPS MP was tasked with responding to the people of my hometown who had forced Oldham Council to write to the government demanding a Public Inquiry into the gang rape of little White girls in the town.
The letter followed six years of campaigning which exposed JIM McMAHON's role in the cover up and then ANDY BURNHAM's role in trying to cover up the cover up through his so called 'Assurance Review'. During these 6 years, at the instructions of Labour Party politicians, including the Pakistani gangster endorsed Council leader AROOJ SHAH, the politically infiltrated Greater Manchester Police repeatedly arrested and attempted to prosecute me. Each case against me collapsed.
Here is the government's response. Most of you will not have seen it as it is buried in the papers of last months Oldham Council meeting.
No one should be surprised that the Labour Party minister wrote back refusing a Public Inquiry. The MP for for Birmingham Yardley since 2015, she is heavily reliant on support from Birmingham's Muslim communities.
Sadly, yet predictably, JESS PHILLIPS is just the latest White woman in a long long list of White women involved in this national shame. I’ll leave it to you to decide why she did what she did and why neither the BBC nor the Council funded Oldham Times have reported on this.
Do Not Fear Them. Do Not Fear Any Of Them.

We stand at a critical crossroads. Even though it was expected, the government’s refusal to back a Public Inquiry is a devastating blow - but it’s not the end of the fight. Now, we face a choice:
Surrender, and allow AROOJ SHAH and her Labour Party to tighten their grip on Oldham, or regroup, intensify our efforts, and hold to account all those involved in these heinous crimes.
Without the Recusant Nine platform, there is no path to justice - no chance to save the town we all call home. But the reality is this: without your help, the platform cannot continue, and the work will end.
Just before the new year, I called on you to pledge £10 to sustain this fight through to May 2026, the next elections. Fewer than 100 people responded. I’ll be honest—that’s not enough to get us where we need to be.
The choice is now yours:
Will you step up and stand with me to finish what we started, or let the likes of Shah and Labour erase everything we’ve fought for?
Pledge your £10 today. With your support, I will lead this campaign all the way to the next elections and ensure the truth is never silenced.
