Why a Public Inquiry Is the Only Way to Uncover the Truth About What Really Happened In Oldham

Imagine being accused of one of the worst crimes imaginable, with no evidence, no trial, and no way to clear your name. That’s exactly what happened to me. But the real story isn’t just about the false accusations - it’s about the intricate web of corruption and lies that sought to destroy not only my reputation but my life. This isn’t a tale of isolated mistakes; it’s a calculated effort involving those in power to silence me at any cost.

During a recent interview on GB News, my friend, the fearless Tameside Conservative Councillor Liam Billington, mentioned a local newspaper headline that linked me to a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) investigation. You can watch the interview here.

While the article didn’t name me directly, the damage was done. The Oldham Times wasn’t just reporting the news - by claiming I had been arrested as part of a CSE investigation, it was part of a coordinated effort to destroy my reputation and endanger my life. This is the link to the article. It is still online.

A Coordinated Campaign to Silence Me

This wasn’t a random act of poor journalism. It was a calculated attack orchestrated by Oldham Council, Greater Manchester Police (GMP), rogue journalists, and Pakistani gangsters with ties to political leaders including Council leader Arooj Shah and now government minister Jim McMahon.

Neil Wilby, a self-proclaimed “journalist,” took it upon himself to name me, share pictures of my home, and even contact my daughter’s school. He even falsified a headline that I was a police informant alongside my photograph and distributed it to his thousands of followers online. This is one of Wilby's several X accounts.

Meanwhile, gangsters linked to Council Leader Arooj Shah spread these accusations online. Their aim was to have me violently assaulted. Dale Cregan's getaway driver, now a community ambassador endorsed by Oldham Council openly boasted online that he was having his scouts follow me home. When this failed to silence me, the Islamists took over. Several claimed I was a gay Christian convert. I have no doubt as to their intention, they wanted to incite my murder from one of the growing number of Islamists in the town.

Another Pakistani gangster posted on Facebook offering to make sure I would never vote again (an offer of murder). The Council leader Arooj Shah responded by posting love hearts in response to the offer of murder. Let that sink in.

Tahir Mushtaq, the brother of an Oldham Labour councillor Sahid Mushtaq, responsible for safeguarding children, went a step further. Pretending to be a lawyer, he published my home address and doubled down on the false allegations that I was a child sex offender. He also published details of who he believed was my Gay partner. It was a smear campaign designed not just to discredit me but to kill me.

Both Wilby and Mushtaq posted daily. They even published photographs of my family members. Emboldened, especially with an MP and Council leader openly fraternising with both, Islamists and gangsters openly made threats online to harm me. I reported this time and time again to Andy Burnham’s police force. They refused to make any arrests. These men, because of their political links, are protected just the same as members of the rape gangs were protected.

When the Police Become Part of the Problem

You’d think the police would step in to protect me and my family. Wrong. Instead, after they dawn raided my home with 8 police officers at the instructions of politicians, GMP placed bail conditions on me, forcing me to stay in a home that had become a target for attacks. I was essentially placed under house arrest. Detective Inspector Kenny Blain sneered at me and justified this by claiming I was a “bail risk”. I had no criminal record and at the time I was caring for my terminally ill mother and raising my young daughter. GMP knew exactly what they was doing by forcing me to stay in the house that was on every Pakistani gangster and Islamists hit list.

For nearly a year, I lived in fear. Every night, I barricaded my door and slept with a knife by my side. My six-year-old daughter grew up in a world where strangers followed us home, where a Mercedes G-Wagon once tailed us for miles, before the driver drove past and gestured as if shooting a gun.

Another time I was car jacked. I can still hear my daughter’s screams. When the police recovered the car, all that had been taken was my house keys and her green canvas crocodile lunch bag. They left behind everything else. I knew it was a message. They knew where I lived and that my daughter was now a target. This was my new reality, all because I refused to stay silent about the gang rape of children.

Once again, instead of arresting any of these men, GMP repeatedly arrested me! Three times they dawn raided my house. On the last occasion, they attempted to have a fast track charging decision to place me on remand - their reason was to prevent me from lawfully campaigning against Amanda Chadderton, the Labour Party leader that had blocked calls for a Public Inquiry.

Every case against me collapsed in court. Andy Burnham's politically infiltrated police force had falsified the allegations against me. Without the CPS's complicity, they would not have been able to have charged me. To this day, GMP are still refusing to arrest the Islamists that still continue to try and incite my murder. I even went to the Police and Crime Commissioner KATE GREEN, her office wrote back claiming she had no powers. I contacted my MP, he REFUSED to even meet with me.

Why Did This Happen?

Because I dared to speak out. I exposed the industrial-scale gang rape of my town's children that authorities had ignored for years. I refused to look the other way. And for that, a network of politicians, press, police, Islamists and gangsters decided I was a problem that needed to be eliminated.

The Role of the Media

Publications like The Oldham Times and Manchester Evening News didn’t just report on my case - they amplified the lies. They were not alone. A man called JOSHI HERMANN from the Manchester Mill launched an online campaign against me. He even recruited BASIA CUMMINGS from Tortoise Media. A former Labour Party press officer turned journalist - HANNAH AL-OTHMAN - wrote a smear piece on me in the Sunday Times!

My photograph appeared in their articles across the country, framing me as guilty by association. When every baseless accusation collapsed, their corrections were few and far between. My reputation is in tatters. Branded a far right racist in parliament by the very MPs I exposed, I know I will never work again. This is the price I paid all because I refused to look the other way to the gang rape of children.

The Bigger Picture

This isn’t just my story. It’s a chilling example of what happens when power goes unchecked. The institutions meant to protect us can become the very forces that destroy us. And unless we demand transparency and accountability, this cycle of corruption will continue. Apparently JESS PHILLIPS life is at risk because she refused a Public Inquiry into the gang rape of children in my town. I urge her to read this testimony and reflect on her decision and what people like myself have endured to force what has happened in Oldham into the national spotlight.

What Needs to Happen

Only a public inquiry can reveal the full extent of this coordinated campaign and bring those responsible to justice. This isn’t just about clearing my name - it’s about exposing how deeply rooted corruption has allowed the systematic abuse of children to persist.

Speaking out against this has cost me more than I could have imagined. Not a day goes by that I do not look back and think what if I had decided it was not my problem and nothing to do with me? But for the sake of truth and justice, and a lifelong commitment to children, it’s a fight I can never abandon.

The cover up of the grooming and gang rape of our nation’s children has got absolutely nothing to do with ‘maintaining community relations’ as so many claim. Instead, it has everything to do with the Labour Party keeping control of towns where they are in bed with Pakistani Cartels and Islamists. I genuinely Public Inquiry in Oldham would expose a template being used by unscrupulous Labour Party politicians, Pakistani Cartels and Islamists across the country. Children were exchanged for votes. It is as simple as that.

As for Oldham, just to demonstrate how rotten this town is, ask yourself, why else does the chair of the Labour Party’s national Constitutional Committee openly hang off the arm of a cop killer’s getaway driver and party with a red rosette wearing gangster that was convicted for kidnap and torture?
