Will You Help Stop Arooj Shah and Her Gangster Infiltrated Labour Party From Taking Back Complete Control of Oldham?

On Friday night, I sent out an urgent call for support to ensure that Recusant Nine’s live transmissions can continue, free to air, until the next elections in May 2026. This fight is far from over, and without the same mass mobilisation as in previous years, we risk falling short of the awareness needed to remove Labour from power.

May 2026 may seem distant, but in the meantime, Arooj Shah and the Council-funded Oldham Times will undoubtedly work to reassert their control over the borough. Without my regular updates and relentless pressure, we risk ceding the ground we’ve worked so hard to gain.

So far, just under 60 people have responded to my call for support. Some have generously given more than the requested £10, while others have supported with a minimum of £3. I deeply appreciate each and every one of you who has stepped up. But here’s the reality:

Out of the 650 people who I sent out an email via Red Wall and The Rabble, less than 50 people responded. The majority that pledged are already paid supporters. I’ll be honest: we’re not where we need to be.
