With the Block Muslim Vote Now on the Brink, Dare New Council Leader Still Support the Pink?

I'm sure it was a coincidence that AMANDA CHADDERTON belatedly responded to Oldham Pride's call for support on Twitter only AFTER we had encouraged her to stand alongside Oldham's LGBT+ community since being announced leader of Oldham Council. I'm also sure that it will also be a coincidence that the Oldham Council press office and the Council funded local media will now start to acknowledge AMANDA CHADDERTON as Oldham's first openly LGBT+ Council leader.

Remember how AMANDA CHADDERTON supported her friend AROOJ SHAH lighting up the Civic Centre purple to commemorate the criminal GEORGE FLOYD and the Black Lives Matter campaign? I'm hoping that AMANDA CHADDERTON has the same conviction to not only encourage all 34 of her Labour Councillors to take part in Oldham Pride alongside her in July, but that she also lights up the Civic Centre pink.
